Bentley is shaking up the luxury car world with its latest announcements, offering a glimpse into the brand’s diverse future. The British marque is set to introduce a rare rear drive Continental GT Supersports, expand its lineup with a range of new models and powertrains, and push forward with its first fully electric vehicle. Here’s a look at how Bentley is balancing tradition, innovation, and exclusivity in its next chapter.
Bentley is bringing back the Supersports badge for just the fourth time, making this Continental GT a true collector’s item. Set to debut on November 14, the new Supersports will be the brand’s first ever rear drive GT, focused entirely on driver engagement. Powered by an internal combustion engine and loaded with lightweight materials and unique performance features, this model aims to deliver pure excitement for enthusiasts. Bentley says this is not just another fast GT; it’s designed to capture the spirit of a real driver’s car, with production numbers strictly limited to maintain its rare status.
While staying committed to high performance gas models, Bentley is also investing heavily in electrification. The brand’s first fully electric SUV, smaller and more agile than the Bentayga, will ride on Volkswagen Group’s Premium Platform Electric with 800 volt architecture for rapid charging. The upcoming EV promises quick acceleration, luxurious comfort, and advanced personalization options, all wrapped in true Bentley craftsmanship. Production prototypes are already being tested, and Bentley has confirmed the new electric SUV will debut next year, with customer deliveries starting in 2027. This move is part of Bentley’s Beyond 100+ strategy, which includes launching new hybrids and electrics every year as it gradually transitions toward a fully electrified future.
