The Detroit Auto Show 2026, the most influential event in the automotive world, opened its doors with a packed agenda over two key days, Media and Industry (January 14 and 15). Co-hosted by SAE International and the Detroit Auto Dealers Association, this year’s show transforms into an interactive stage blending America’s manufacturing heritage with the future of smart mobility.
Excitement started early on January 13 with an exclusive Ford event themed Pride of Detroit: Off-Road Edition. The brand showcased the strength of its Bronco, Raptor, and Tremor models. Right after, The Gallery charity gala featured 50 ultra-luxury cars from more than 12 world-class brands, from Aston Martin to Rolls Royce, with proceeds benefiting Forgotten Harvest in the fight against hunger.
The show officially opened to the public with displays from over 40 brands alongside the launch of the Mobility Global Forum. The main stage saw more than 60 experts participate in 30 panel sessions.
