Geely has just launched the 2026 Coolray in the UAE, bringing big changes in engine performance, comfort, and advanced technology. AGMC has redesigned this popular compact SUV to appeal to drivers who want more power, better safety, and a modern look. With three new trims and a host of new features, the Coolray is set to stand out among compact SUVs in the Emirates.
The main highlight of the new Coolray is its refined four cylinder turbo engine, which replaces the older three cylinder version. This upgrade delivers a solid 172 horsepower and 290 newton meters of torque, making the Coolray quicker and smoother for daily driving in the UAE. The new engine is paired with a seven speed wet dual clutch gearbox that provides fast shifts and a more relaxing ride, with acceleration from zero to one hundred kilometers per hour in just 7.6 seconds.
Buyers in the UAE can choose from three trims: GL, GF, and GF Plus. All three share the same upgraded engine and gearbox, so every model gives you the full performance experience. The GL offers great value with LED lights, sporty seats, and essential safety features. The GF trim raises the bar with a panoramic sunroof, bigger screens, wireless charging, and advanced driver assistance systems like adaptive cruise control and a 540 degree camera. For those wanting to stand out, the GF Plus brings a bold Gradient Grey color and all the best features found in the lineup.
Geely packed the Coolray with new tech designed for UAE roads and daily life. One standout feature is the transparent chassis camera that helps you see under the car, which is perfect for tight parking spots in cities like Dubai. There is also a driver fatigue monitor for long trips, a large fourteen point six inch screen in higher trims, and wireless connectivity to keep you comfortable and connected at all times.
On the practical side, the Coolray remains easy to drive in city traffic, with a compact length of 4380 millimeters and plenty of cabin space for both headroom and legroom. The SUV is fuel efficient, using only about six liters per one hundred kilometers, and the forty five liter tank keeps refueling stops rare. AGMC has set the starting price at seventy five thousand five hundred dirhams for the GL, up to almost ninety thousand for the fully loaded GF Plus, and all models come with a seven year or two hundred thousand kilometer warranty, making this SUV a smart long term choice in the UAE.
