Audi is officially entering the Formula 1 arena, and it is making a statement before even turning a wheel. The world got its first proper look at the Audi Revolut R26 in Berlin, with a sleek new livery that showcases the brand’s signature titanium finish, black details, and bold red highlights. As anticipation builds for the 2026 Formula 1 season, Audi is set to grab attention both on and off the track.
Audi’s lineup for its debut F1 season brings together proven talent and rising stars. Nico Hülkenberg, a familiar face for racing fans, is back in the cockpit after a career with teams like Williams, Aston Martin, and most recently Sauber. Alongside him is Gabriel Bortoleto, the promising Brazilian driver who won the Formula 3 title in 2023 and made his Formula 1 debut in 2025. Their combined experience and hunger for victory give Audi strong footing as it takes on the F1 grid for the first time.
The final look for Audi’s first Formula 1 car is all about clean lines and striking contrasts. Silver is the main color, complemented by carbon black and splashes of Audi Red that accentuate the car’s aggressive profile. Audi’s four ring emblem is featured on the side and rear, bringing unmistakable brand identity to the grid. The drivers’ race suits mirror the car’s colors, uniting the team visually for a powerful debut.
Audi is not just entering Formula 1 to participate, it is aiming to win. The R26 features a newly developed 1.6 liter turbocharged V6 engine paired with an advanced hybrid energy recovery system and custom transmission, representing the brand’s ambition and engineering prowess. The car debuted in Berlin and will take to the track for testing in Bahrain before making its race debut in Australia at the 2026 season opener.
