Ford is turning back time with the new FX Pack for the 2026 Mustang, blending vintage cues with the aggressive design of its seventh generation. The most striking part of this nostalgic makeover lies in the cabin. Ford introduces a fresh interior theme where black and white perforated leather seats are styled with plaid-inspired patterns straight out of the 1980s. This isn’t just surface-level decoration; it’s a full-on tribute.
Silver and Adriatic Blue stitching run across the cabin, from the dashboard to the steering wheel, while the GT badge on the instrument panel adopts a classic font unique to this package. Even the seatbelts are customizable, available in bold shades like bright orange, basic blue, or black with red accents. It all adds up to an immersive retro vibe that hits the mark for Mustang fans who grew up idolizing the Fox Body era.
The FX Pack’s biggest visual flex is the return of Adriatic Blue Metallic, a color inspired by the teal shades seen on third-generation Mustangs. It gets a clean contrast thanks to white detailing on the GT and 5.0 badges, grille pony emblem, and two sets of unique wheels in Oxford White. One is a refined version of the five-spoke 19-inch wheel already seen on the 2025 Mustang, while the other is a more retro-inspired design exclusive to models with the Performance Pack.
Higher-performance trims get white front vents for added visual punch, while standard variants feature a darker carbonized gray treatment. The FX Pack nails that old-school cool factor with small but meaningful details that Mustang fans will instantly recognize.
Ford isn’t limiting the FX Pack to a specific Mustang buyer. Whether shoppers go for the GT Premium with or without the Performance Pack, coupe or convertible, manual or automatic, they’ll be able to spec the FX Pack to match their vibe. Even better, Ford Performance Parts will offer optional white tail lamps to complete the look.
Adding to the retro-inspired color lineup, the long-lost Orange Fury Metallic Tricoat makes a comeback after disappearing in 2019. It joins Adriatic Blue and the bold new interior to deliver a full spectrum of nostalgic flair. Orders for the 2026 Mustang are set to open later this month, and the FX Pack will be ready to bring a modern throwback to every street it touches.
