Ahead of the first double header of the 2025/26 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship season, all eyes turn to the Jeddah Corniche Circuit for the championship’s return to Saudi Arabia for rounds 4 and 5.
The 10 teams have arrived on the Red Sea for a pivotal back-to-back race weekend on 13 and 14 February, with just three points separating the top three drivers in the championship. After rounds in São Paulo, Mexico City, and Miami, the drivers are gearing up for the first night races of the 2025/26 season, featuring the return of PIT BOOST, a test of strategy and tactical nous set to bring thrilling racing to the 3.001km configurated layout. Coming to Jeddah as championship leader with a win in Mexico City, Nick Cassidy of Citroën Racing is hoping to keep the momentum going on his return to the Kingdom: “It’s been a nice few races to start the season, there’s a long way to go but we’re looking forward to the weekend. I loved racing in Diriyah in the past, had one of my favourite race wins there. We’ve done some work on the simulator to get ready for this weekend so it’s good to be back here in Saudi Arabia.” In his debut season in Formula E, Brazilian star Felipe Drugovich of Andretti Racing is looking forward to taking to the Jeddah Corniche Circuit once again this weekend: “It’s a super cool opportunity (to be back in Jeddah). I’ve been here with other series and, especially with Formula 2, I’ve done pretty well here. So I love the track. Such a cool opportunity to be racing here, again. It’s a great opportunity just to build what we’ve been doing in Miami.” As winner of the inaugural Miami E-Prix, Jaguar TCS Racing’s Mitch Evans aims to bring his form to the Red Sea this weekend: “I’m always trying to win. It’s great to come off the back of a win. We had a tricky start, so we needed that result to kick start our season and that gives you confidence. And confidence and momentum in this sport is really important. With the track here, I’m still getting familiar with Jeddah because it’s only the second time here. It’s always great coming back here and seeing the country evolve and the sport evolve here as well.” As Formula E world champion last season, Nissan’s Oliver Rowland is aiming to bounce back into the title fight and replicate his double-podium finish during his last visit to the Jeddah Corniche Circuit: “I remember this race weekend being one of my easier wins last year! Obviously I lost the first race on the last corner which was entertaining for the crowd. I enjoy racing in Saudi, I’m usually faster here in Diriyah or in Jeddah. It’s really enjoyable to drive the track over one lap, the grip level was super high and all the drivers enjoyed going with full power. I’m looking forward to experiencing that and replicating last year.”

Beyond the performances, visitors will discover entertainment for the whole family with a gaming arena, street food and much more. Grandstand and general admission tickets are available from SAR100.
