Starting from third on the grid, da Costa immediately established himself in the lead fight, engaging in clean, hard racing with the front group as he carefully managed energy. By mid‑race, his pace and efficiency put him in a powerful position, and a perfectly timed ATTACK MODE deployment allowed him to seize the lead and build a decisive gap.

Da Costa controlled the closing stages, extending his lead to more than three seconds and taking a brilliant victory - his first with Jaguar TCS Racing and the 13th win of his Formula E career. The result also marked a Jaguar powertrain 1–2 finish, with Sébastien Buemi finishing second for Jaguar customer team Envision Racing.

Starting from P13, Mitch Evans delivered an impressive climb through the field. His first ATTACK MODE was used to great effect, propelling him into the top eight within a single lap. Smart energy management and well‑judged overtakes kept him firmly in the points, and a late second ATTACK MODE push helped him secure P7 at the flag.

The win completes a two‑podium weekend for Jaguar TCS Racing, following Evans’ P3 on Friday, and marks the team’s second victory in the last three races. It also makes Jaguar the most successful team in Formula E history with 24 race wins since joining the all-electric championship 10 years ago.

The team now heads to Spain for the inaugural Madrid E-Prix, and da Costa’s 150th race in Formula E, as the team continues to build strong championship momentum.

António Félix da Costa, Jaguar TCS Racing driver #13, said: “What a day. The car felt fantastic, the strategy was spot‑on, and once I got into the rhythm I knew we had the pace to fight for the win. To take my first victory with Jaguar TCS Racing — and to help the team become the most successful in Formula E history — is something I’m really proud of. This is only my fifth race with the team, so to already be standing on the top step means a lot. We’re building something strong here, and I can’t wait for what’s next.”

Mitch Evans, Jaguar TCS Racing driver #9, said: “Massive congratulations to António and the whole team — that was a mega win. From my side, it was a strong race coming through the pack, and we maximised what we had with good energy management and well‑timed ATTACK MODEs. It’s been a great weekend for the team overall, and to see Jaguar make history with its 24th win is something really special. We’re in a good place and I’m excited to keep this momentum rolling.”

Ian James, Jaguar TCS Racing Team Principal, said: “Today is a hugely significant moment for Jaguar TCS Racing. António drove with precision and confidence to a well-deserved win, Mitch delivered another strong points finish, and the entire team executed at an exceptional level. This victory not only reflects smart strategy and outstanding teamwork, but also marks an important win in the brand’s history in the championship. To achieve two wins in the last three races and a double‑podium weekend shows the consistency we’re building. We’ll carry that energy forward as we continue to push for more.”

Joining the team on the podium was Josh ‘Chip’ Larkin, who will return with Jaguar TCS Racing on Sunday 15 February for Formula E’s EVO Sessions, which will see ten leading content creators take on the GEN3 Evo cars around the Jeddah Corniche Circuit.

Mitch remains 5th overall in the Drivers’ World Championship, with António moving up to 7th as a result of his first race win with the team. Jaguar TCS Racing is now 2nd in the Teams’ World Championship and Jaguar retains second-place position in the Manufacturers’ standings.

Jaguar TCS Racing will return to racing next month for Round 6 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship at the inaugural Madrid E-Prix (21 March).
