Jaguar TCS Racing delivered a sensational end to the 2024/25 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, claiming back-to-back victories at its home E-Prix in London, securing second place in the Drivers’, Teams’ and Manufacturers’ standings, and celebrating a historic season finale for the team.

Nick Cassidy (#37) was the star of the weekend, taking a dominant lights-to-flag victory in Round 16 following a stunning comeback win from fifth on the grid in Round 15. The Kiwi’s back-to-back wins marked his third and fourth victories in the last five races, securing him second place in the Drivers’ World Championship and capping off his final race with Jaguar TCS Racing in style.

The results mark a triumphant end to James Barclay’s tenure as Jaguar TCS Racing Team Principal. After 127 races, 22 wins, 53 podiums, 13 pole positions, and a Teams’ World Championship title in 2024, Barclay bids farewell with Jaguar TCS Racing enjoying its most successful Formula E season since joining the championship in 2016.

We are disappointed for Mitch who was denied a podium and a 1-2 finish due to an unfortunate time penalty. He’s shown incredible pace and character throughout the season and we’re proud of everything he continues to deliver. I leave this team full of pride and optimism for the future, this weekend showed exactly what Jaguar TCS Racing is capable of.”

We all have so many friends, family and partners here, and to deliver this result on home soil, in my last race for the team, means everything.

Mitch Evans, Jaguar TCS Racing Driver, #9: “Frustrating again personally, but I’m happy for the team. In Round 15, we had the pace but things didn’t fall our way with strategy and race traffic. In the finale, I felt really strong, finished P2 on the road, but the time penalty meant we missed out on the podium. I’ll be talking to the team to fully understand that situation, but I’m proud to have helped secure second in the Teams’ and Manufacturers’ standings.

It’s also a fitting send-off for James – he gave me my shot in Formula E, and I’ll always be grateful for that. We showed the potential in the car, and I’m looking forward to carrying this momentum into next season.”
