The Lotus Type 66 Track Car has been revealed as a homage to a project that never saw the light of day – the "lost" Type 66. Decades later, Lotus has resurrected this concept and transformed it into a limited-production reality.

The sleek bodywork isn't just visually arresting; it's a symphony of form and function, channeling air seamlessly to enhance performance.

Lotus has always been revered for its impeccable handling and tactile driving experience. The Type 66 Track Car continues this legacy by incorporating cutting-edge suspension and chassis technology, allowing drivers to feel intimately connected to the road. The attention to detail is exquisite, with bespoke customization options available to make every Type 66 truly one-of-a-kind. From the stitching on the racing seats to the selection of premium materials for the interior, Lotus ensures that each car reflects the owner's distinct personality.

With a price tag of $1.3 million, the Lotus Type 66 Track Car is undoubtedly a substantial investment. However, for those who understand the essence of engineering artistry and the thrill of commanding a machine of such caliber, it's an investment that transcends monetary value. Each dollar spent is a tribute to the craftsmanship, innovation, and heritage that Lotus has nurtured over its storied history.

The Lotus Type 66 Track Car is more than just a limited-production hypercar; it's a testament to the resilience of a brand that has weathered decades of change while staying true to its core values. New Aston Martin Vantage GT3 targets victory in WEC and IMSA

Aston Martin’s new Vantage GT3 continues its hunt for glory in the world’s two most prestigious endurance racing series, as the FIA World Endurance Championship [WEC] and the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship [IMSA] resume this weekend.

The WEC begins its European leg on Sunday with the 6 Hours of Imola (ITA), and an inaugural visit to one of the continent’s best-known circuits, before heading to Spa-Francorchamps (BEL) on 11 May, and then the 24 Hours of Le Mans on 15-16 June. Meanwhile IMSA heads to the world famous Long Beach street track for its first sprint race (100 minutes) of the season. A second-place finish in the brand-new LMGT3 class for the Heart of Racing (HoR), and third for D’station Racing, made Aston Martin the only one of the nine GT manufacturers present to score a WEC double podium finish at the season-opening 1812km of Qatar in March. It means both teams arrive in Italy in strong form.
