GITEX Global 2025 turned heads with one of the most futuristic car lineups ever seen in Dubai. From flying taxis and robotaxis to high performance hypercars, the event spotlighted how the UAE is transforming mobility with tech powered innovation. Across five packed days at the Dubai World Trade Centre, visitors witnessed not just cars but full-blown systems designed to move people, police cities, and even fly through the sky.
Let’s take a look at the headline grabbing models that stole the spotlight.
The Tensor RoboCar made waves at GITEX 2025 as the world’s first fully autonomous electric vehicle built specifically for private ownership. Designed for Level 4 autonomy, it has no steering wheel or pedals and can be controlled entirely through a smartphone app.
Tensor calls it hands off, eyes off, mind off driving. But the real kicker is privacy. All user data stays locked inside the car and is encrypted for secure access only between the car and its owner.
Though Tensor hasn’t confirmed its production partner yet, reports suggest Vietnamese automaker VinFast could be involved. Pre orders are expected to start in 2026, with deliveries in the UAE by the end of that year before heading to the US and Europe.
Mercedes-Benz brought serious heat with the CONCEPT AMG GT XX, a fully electric hypercar pushing over 1300 hp and speeds topping 360 km per hour. This car is built on the AMG.EA platform that will power the next wave of high performance EVs, setting up future rivals to models like the Taycan and Audi e tron GT.
Incredibly, the GT XX set 25 endurance records at the Nardò track in Italy, covering 40,075 km in just under eight days. It also recharges lightning fast, adding 400 km of range in just five minutes.
This is not just a concept, it’s a look into the future of luxury performance cars that embrace speed, silence, and sustainability all in one body.
