TNT Sports has aired an interview between Jeff Dodds, CEO of Formula E, and Jermaine Jenas, Formula E’s Lead Presenter and former pro footballer, in which the former makes a huge statement on how predictable Formula 1 has become… a statement worth $250,000.
At the end of the interview, when discussing wider motorsport predictions, Jeff makes the wager of the year, stating: “If any one of the other 19 drivers win it, we’ll give a quarter of a million dollars to the charity of choice of the driver that does win it”
The proclamation aims to highlight the unpredictability of Formula E - especially when compared to F1 - and make a substantial donation to a charitable cause.
