This performance is achieved through a formula BRABUS has refined for decades: more power through increased displacement. In the in-house high-tech engine facility, cylinder bores are enlarged to 84 millimeters (3.4 in.) and forged pistons are installed to achieve a compression ratio of 8.6:1. A special precision-machined, fully balanced crankshaft extends the stroke to exactly 100 millimeters (4 in.), in combination with forged high-performance connecting rods. This increases displacement from the standard 3,982 cc to 4,407 cc. Equally critical to the performance gain is the specially engineered BRABUS forced induction system. Two high-performance turbochargers with larger compressor units and reinforced axial bearings generate a maximum boost pressure of 1.4 bar. Two BRABUS BoostXtra valves provide an exhilarating blow-off sound during load changes. The BRABUS ROCKET 900 displacement engine is complemented by larger 75-millimeter (2.9 in.) downpipes, metal catalytic converters and special particulate filters. The BRABUS ROCKET stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system stands out visually with its side-exit twin tailpipes positioned ahead of the rear wheels on both sides, framed by exposed-carbon surrounds with integrated red launch ambience lighting and ROCKET badging. Integrated valve-control technology offers active sound management, allowing the driver to choose between a powerful V8 sound in Sport mode or a discreet “Coming Home” mode. To perfectly harmonize all high-performance components, the BRABUS engineers and electronics specialists conducted extensive dynamometer testing and prolonged road testing. This ensures not only optimal performance output, but also outstanding durability. BRABUS exclusively uses high-performance lubricants from technology partner MOTUL.

The engineering effort results in exceptional performance figures: 662 kW / 900 hp at 6,200 rpm and a maximum torque of 1,250 Nm (922 lb-ft), available from just 2,900 rpm. To protect drivetrain components during everyday driving, torque is electronically limited to 1,050 Nm (774 lb-ft). These figures translate into next-level performance: the BRABUS 900 ROCKET EDITION accelerates from rest to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.7 seconds, with top speed limited to 240 km/h (149 mph) to suit the tire specification. The BRABUS ROCKET EDITION widebody was developed exclusively for this supercar. All components are produced in high-gloss sealed exposed-carbon, giving the all-wheel-drive icon a distinctly sporty appearance. The powerful front is shaped by the BRABUS fascia with large air intakes and an integrated front spoiler, as well as the signature BRABUS power dome hood. The look is completed by a newly designed illuminated exposed-carbon grille frame that highlights the illuminated BRABUS front emblem and ensures unmistakable presence even after dark. The side profile is redefined by wide fenders with additional exposed-carbon elements and integrated LED-illuminated running boards. Behind the front and rear wheel arches, intricately designed elements add further visual highlights. Another standout feature is the BRABUS “PLATINUM EDITION” high-end wheels, developed specifically for the BRABUS 900 ROCKET EDITION. The legendary Monoblock II three-spoke design is executed in an EVO version with a slot in each spoke to redefine the look. Measuring 10Jx24 at the front and 12Jx24 at the rear, the wheels are fitted with high-performance tires sized 295/30 ZR 24 and 355/25 ZR 24. Special exposed-carbon Aero Blades complete the dynamic appearance. Naturally, the rear view is equally distinctive. A new exposed-carbon rear wing enhances the “1-Second-Wow” effect while optimizing aerodynamics. The tailgate features an exclusive exposed-carbon trim element with an integrated red illuminated BRABUS logo. Made from the same high-tech compound, the BRABUS rear fascia completes the widebody design and connects seamlessly to the extra-wide rear fenders.

The BRABUS 900 ROCKET EDITION is complemented by an exceptionally exclusive BRABUS Masterpiece interior, meticulously handcrafted in black leather. The BRABUS interior designers and master upholsterers set distinctive accents in both vehicles. One example is the precise quilting of the seat surfaces, inner door panels and the floors of both the passenger and luggage areas in the BRABUS “Shell” design, further individualized by embossed “Double-B” logos. The entirely black seat surfaces are additionally perforated with pinpoint precision to support the integrated seat climate control. In the “Signature Black” vehicle, the piping is finished in black to match the leather design. The BRABUS 900 ROCKET EDITION in the exclusive “Stealth Gray” specification features piping in a striking red contrast color, echoed throughout the interior on the center console, control elements, air vents, speaker grilles, door trim accents and select sections of the steering wheel. The BRABUS Masterpiece badges on the seat backrests are also finished in the same tone. The outer sections of all seats, as well as the headliner, are upholstered in Dinamica microfiber. Both vehicles feature a comprehensively refined interior with distinctly sporty exposed-carbon elements, including trim panels on the dashboard, door panels and center console. In the Signature Black supercar, the air vents and numerous cockpit details are finished in Shadow Gray, further emphasizing the technical character of the interior. A new BRABUS development is the carbon paddle shifters with integrated rev indicators. The LEDs display engine speed progression in real time, changing from green to yellow to red to indicate the optimal shift point, similar to a Formula 1 steering wheel. Carbon pedal pads and a matching footrest complete the sporty interior. Entry panels made from the same high-tech compound are installed on all four doors, featuring illuminated BRABUS logos synchronized with the ambient lighting system. To improve access to the rear seats, both supercars are equipped with special “Easy Entry” hinges that extend the door opening angle to 90 degrees. As an exclusive companion for short trips, every BRABUS 900 ROCKET EDITION is delivered with a BRABUS Weekender travel bag. Handcrafted from the finest leather, quilted and perforated in the BRABUS “Shell” design, it is perfectly matched in color and craftsmanship to the BRABUS Masterpiece interior—just like the handcrafted BRABUS key cover.
