Ford is rewriting the rules for compact pickups with the debut of the Maverick 300T at SEMA 2025. This special edition takes the practical small truck and drops in the heart of a Mustang, creating a street truck with a bold attitude and 300 horsepower on tap. Built to thrill, this new Maverick is not just about raw power but also about detailed upgrades inside and out. Here’s how Ford is bringing the true spirit of American performance back to the street truck scene.

Under the hood, the Ford Maverick 300T swaps its standard turbocharger for a larger unit borrowed straight from the Mustang EcoBoost 2.3 liter engine. That’s not all, Ford Performance added a Mishimoto air cooler and a ProCal 4 tuning module, raising output by 50 extra horsepower and 54 newton meters of torque. The final numbers? A wild 300 horsepower and 430 newton meters of torque. This transforms the Maverick into a true street machine with muscle car DNA.

Even better, these upgrades are fully legal in all states and come with a three year or 58000 kilometer warranty if installed by a Ford dealer or certified ASE technician. Owners get peace of mind along with that rush of power every time they press the pedal.

Ford did not just upgrade the engine, the Maverick 300T gets a full makeover. It uses a sports suspension, stabilizer bars, and dampers from the Lobo performance pickup, plus bronze 20 inch wheels sourced from the Mustang Mach E GT. The Borla Sport Exhaust system gives the truck an aggressive sound, matched by a lowered stance (down 10 millimeters at the front and 30 at the rear) thanks to custom springs.

For grip, Pirelli P Zero Elect tires are recommended, and the look is finished with an Air Design front splitter and side vents. The details really pop with 300T badges on the hood and doors, Ford Performance logos inside, and bronze highlights on the grille, wheels, and tailgate. The interior is all about sporty touches, with embroidered sport seats and bold styling that channels Ford’s racing heritage.

Unveiled as a concept at SEMA 2025, Ford has confirmed the Maverick 300T package will be available for order next year through Ford Performance Parts. Any owner of AWD Maverick XL, XLT, or Lariat models can transform their truck into a 300T with the same muscle and attitude as the show car.

This move signals Ford’s commitment to reviving the affordable street truck, giving fans a blend of power, reliability, and value that’s been missing from the market. The Maverick 300T is more than just a modified pickup, it’s a statement that Ford performance lives on for a new generation of drivers.
