  • What makes the new Singer DLS Turbo 911 different from the previous version?
  • How much performance does the Singer DLS Turbo 911 actually deliver?

Singer Vehicle Design has revealed its second DLS Turbo Porsche 911, and this latest creation pushes the limits even further. Known for transforming classic air cooled 911 models into modern masterpieces, the California based restoration house has once again blended vintage soul with cutting edge engineering. The new build, named Apollyon, proves that the restomod world still has room for more drama, more power, and more attitude.

Track or Road: How Extreme Is the New Singer DLS Turbo 911?

Singer designed this DLS Turbo to highlight how owners can choose between road focused elegance and track ready aggression. The Apollyon is based on the 1980s Porsche 911, but visually it feels like something lifted from a futuristic science fiction film.

The track specification version features a massive rear wing and sharper body styling that instantly signals performance intent. It looks planted, wide, and unapologetically bold. The road version takes a more subtle approach, replacing the large wing with a classic ducktail spoiler that nods to Porsche heritage while keeping the overall stance purposeful.

The owner chose a deep Black Metallic finish, accented with striking red details that give the car a dramatic presence. Magnesium centerlock turbofan style wheels, finished in black, complete the look. The result feels like past and present colliding at full speed, with every surface carefully refined to reflect Singer’s obsession with detail.

Under the rear decklid sits a reworked 3.8 liter flat six engine, staying true to the air cooled Porsche tradition that Singer loves. While the displacement remains familiar, the performance numbers are anything but.

The upgraded engine now produces around 529 kilowatts and approximately 750 newton meters of torque. That is serious output for a classic inspired machine. Even more impressive, the engine revs all the way to 9,000 revolutions per minute, delivering a raw and mechanical driving experience that few modern turbocharged cars can replicate.

Singer worked to ensure that the DLS Turbo is not just about straight line numbers. Structural enhancements, refined aerodynamics, and meticulous weight management all contribute to a car that feels balanced and precise. This is not simply a restored 911. It is a reimagined performance icon built to feel alive at every speed.

For enthusiasts who appreciate heritage but demand modern levels of performance, the new DLS Turbo shows how far a classic platform can evolve when passion meets engineering excellence.
