SEMA 2024’s fourth episode of Motor283’s coverage takes us deep into the wildest corners of off road culture. This isn’t your average show floor. We’re talking lifted monsters, slammed 4x4s, gold plated pickup trucks, and a fleet of modified Cybertrucks redefining Tesla’s role in custom car culture. From Overlanding Porsche Cayennes to six wheeled Gladiators, this episode captures everything outrageous, rugged, and visionary.
This year, the Cybertruck was everywhere. Not just in stock form, but fully transformed into police units, desert crawlers, and luxury Overlanding rigs. Matte wraps, piano black finishes, aggressive off road tires, and even personalized color-coded badging made every build unique.
From the outside, these machines looked straight out of a sci-fi movie. But inside, they carried the spirit of adventure. Tesla’s platform is quickly becoming a favorite among tuners looking to bridge futuristic design with hardcore off road function.
If you thought a lifted Ram TRX was bold, wait until you see what SEMA had in store. Towering pickups with six wheels, rear wheel steering, and suspensions that adjust to multiple floor levels turned heads all over the outdoor arena.
One build went all in with golden brake calipers, engraved interior panels, and exhaust pipes polished to a mirror finish. Another Bronco featured safari-style seating for six outside the cabin, while a Wrangler got the full Star Wars R2-D2 themed wrap and light-up suspension.
From Super Duty chrome monsters to slammed Overlanding-ready Cayennes, the creativity was endless.
Overland builds at SEMA 2024 were not just rugged, they were comfortable. One G-Class was turned into a full mobile garage, carrying everything from solar panels to kitchen setups and even waste bins.
Another Porsche build mixed safari gear with refined body lines, while a Lamborghini concept teased the idea of luxury Overlanding with wild wheel setups and camping add-ons. Every corner of the show was packed with vehicles ready to leave the city behind and live out on the trails in total style.
Ford Broncos and Jeep Wranglers dominated the custom off road scene this year, with endless takes on how to modernize these legends. Wide body kits, monster tires, lifted suspensions, and retro inspired interiors created some of the most jaw dropping builds at the show.
Even the classic Toyota Land Cruiser saw new life, with concept builds combining military heritage with Overlanding practicality. One standout Gladiator was converted into a six wheel beast with turning rear axles and a fully custom bed, stealing attention across the floor.
SEMA 2024 reminded us that off road isn’t just a driving style, it’s a lifestyle. And in this episode, Motor283 captured that perfectly. With Cybertrucks reimagined, classic 4x4s transformed, and Overlanding builds taken to luxurious extremes, this was a celebration of freedom on four wheels.
