XPENG AEROHT, now operating globally as ARIDGE, made history in Dubai by signing a massive order for 600 flying cars. This deal, the largest ever for eVTOL vehicles, involves major partners in the region like Ali & Sons Group in the UAE, Almana Group in Qatar, and Al Sayer Group in Kuwait. The agreement was signed during a high-profile event on October 13, 2025, marking the official debut of ARIDGE in the Gulf market. It also confirms that over 7000 global orders have already been placed for the revolutionary Land Aircraft Carrier. This vehicle is the world’s first commercially ready flying car and is set to reshape how people view mobility across the Gulf.
The Land Aircraft Carrier is the flagship flying car by ARIDGE. It looks like an electric SUV but carries a detachable two-seat aircraft unit in the rear. The base vehicle is a six-wheeled 5.5 meter long structure with four wheel drive and rear wheel steering. It uses an 800 volt SiC hybrid platform and can travel over 1000 kilometers on a full charge. The aircraft unit charges while docked and is ready for five to six short flights after refueling. It also supports both auto flight and manual controls and only needs a regular Class C driver’s license on the ground. The vehicle is priced at under 2 million yuan in China, equal to about 1.04 million Saudi riyals.
Following the success of the Land Aircraft Carrier, ARIDGE is developing a second model called A868. This upcoming flying car is built for longer distances with a max range of over 500 kilometers and top speed beyond 360 km per hour. Designed for both private and commercial intercity use, the A868 will debut in November 2025 in Guangzhou, China. ARIDGE plans to bring it to the Middle East after its global launch, making it a key part of the region’s low altitude flight strategy starting 2027. From UAE to Qatar and Kuwait, local partners are already working with ARIDGE to build testing centers and obtain civil aviation licenses for the future.
ARIDGE has just completed the world’s first fully automated flying car factory in Guangzhou, China. It can produce one vehicle every 30 minutes with an annual capacity of 10,000 units starting 2026. This factory blends aviation-grade safety with the speed of automotive assembly. The Middle East will be the first region outside China to receive ARIDGE flying cars, and commercial rollouts are expected by 2027. Saudi Arabia is part of this plan, and ARIDGE’s deal signals a major step in making flying cars a reality for private and business use across Gulf cities.
