  • What makes the Ford F-Line E stand out among electric trucks?
  • How does Ford’s F-Line E support business needs in the modern era?

Ford is making a bold move in the world of commercial vehicles with the reveal of its very first all-electric heavy duty truck. The new F-Line E is not aimed at the average driver, but at businesses and fleets that need tough performance, smart flexibility, and real range for demanding jobs.

Performance and Battery Specs

The F-Line E debuts with two main versions, both designed to tackle tough work. The larger 6 by 2 configuration comes packed with four powerful battery packs, delivering a total of 392 kilowatt hours, with 314 kilowatt hours usable. This setup allows the F-Line E to travel up to 300 kilometers on a single charge, powered by a rear electric motor producing up to 523 horsepower and a huge 2,470 newton meters of torque when needed. Charging is fast too, with peak speeds reaching up to 285 kilowatts for the biggest model.

For lighter tasks, the 4 by 2 version offers three battery packs for a usable 235 kilowatt hours and a range of up to 250 kilometers per charge. The 4 by 2 is a bit less powerful but still delivers up to 389 horsepower. Both versions are electronically limited to a top speed of 90 kilometers per hour, making them perfect for city and regional operations where heavy loads and steady pace matter most.

Built for Real Work

Built for Real Work

Ford designed the F-Line E to be more than just a clean energy option. Its modular design means operators can easily configure the truck for delivery fleets, municipal tasks, or even garbage collection, all without major changes. This flexibility helps businesses reduce downtime and get the most value from their fleet investments.

At the same time, Ford is not abandoning traditional power. The company also introduced the updated F-Max diesel truck, now with a more efficient 12.7 liter engine that promises up to eleven percent better fuel economy. Together, the F-Line E and the new F-Max show that Ford is focused on giving customers real choices as they move toward the future of commercial transport.
