As part of this collaboration, Udrive has already integrated 150 BYD hybrid vehicles into its fleet, with plans to expand to 500 units over the coming year. This collaboration, which aligns with the UAE’s Net Zero by 2050 Strategic Initiative, underscores Al Futtaim Electric Mobility (AFEM) and Udrive’s commitment to reducing emissions while delivering smarter, cleaner, and more efficient mobility for all, while simultaneously marking a major green mobility shift within Udrive’s more than 1,700-strong fleet, making it one of the region’s largest and most diverse shared mobility providers.

The current rollout includes 100 units of the BYD Song Plus, a hybrid SUV combining performance, efficiency, and intelligent comfort for both city and intercity journeys, and 50 units of the BYD Qin Plus, a sleek hybrid sedan designed for modern urban mobility with outstanding energy efficiency and advanced safety features.

The partnership, facilitated by Hertz B2B Leasing, and the forward-looking 500-unit expansion MoU between Udrive and Al-Futtaim, solidifying a long-term vision for hybrid and electric mobility in the UAE.
