Everyone loves supercars because they like to experience the latest driving technologies, speed, adrenaline, and prestige. Supercars usually present most of their drivers’ status, and those drivers usually tend to buy the fastest among supercars to impress everyone around them and to enjoy the driving experience. Speed is the main key to make a supercar loved, so here are the fastest cars in the world based on their acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h. You’re not going to find a Bugatti or a Pininfarina Battista here because we’re only speaking supercars language.

Ferraris are pretty similar when it comes to acceleration, but the latest Ferrari 296 GTB makes an impressive 2.9 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h. It has a mid-rear turbocharged 120˚ V6 with PHEV. It produces about 818hp and 740 Nm of torque, and the power is transported to the wheels through an 8-speed automatic transmission and a rear-wheel-drive system. The Ferrari 296 GTB has a bold price tag that goes around 340 thousand dollars.

According to Maserati, the MC20 can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds, so it probably can go from 0 to 100 km/h in about 3 or 3.1 seconds depending on the road.
