Jeep has a long-standing reputation for producing rugged and capable off-road vehicles, and the 2024 Jeep Gladiator is no exception. This midsize pickup truck is known for its exceptional off-road prowess and utility, and the latest iteration promises to take things to the next level. With a striking new grille design and an available AEV (American Expedition Vehicles) package featuring 35-inch tires, the 2024 Jeep Gladiator is set to dominate the off-road scene.

A New Face for the Gladiator

A New Face for the Gladiator

One of the most noticeable changes for the 2024 Jeep Gladiator is its redesigned front grille. The classic seven-slot grille is now wider and more imposing, giving the Gladiator a more aggressive and commanding presence on the road. The grille's new design is complemented by bold LED headlights and fog lights, enhancing both style and functionality.

The grille isn't just about aesthetics; it also contributes to improved engine cooling and aerodynamics, making the Gladiator even more efficient and capable. Jeep has managed to strike a perfect balance between form and function with this new grille, making it a standout feature of the 2024 model.

Power and Performance

Power and Performance

Under the hood, the 2024 Jeep Gladiator retains its powerful engine options. Buyers can choose between the 3.6-liter V6 engine, which produces 285 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque, or the 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6, delivering 260 horsepower and an impressive 600 Nm of torque. Both engines are mated to a smooth-shifting eight-speed automatic transmission.

Jeep's legendary 4x4 capability is at the heart of the Gladiator's performance. With its Command-Trac and Rock-Trac 4x4 systems, electronic locking front and rear differentials, and a disconnectable front sway bar, the Gladiator is ready to tackle the most challenging terrains with ease.

For those seeking the ultimate off-road experience, Jeep offers the AEV (American Expedition Vehicles) package for the 2024 Gladiator. This package takes the Gladiator's already impressive capabilities to new heights, primarily thanks to its 35-inch all-terrain tires.

These large tires provide greater ground clearance, allowing the Gladiator to conquer even more challenging trails and obstacles. With increased traction and a more substantial footprint, the AEV-equipped Gladiator offers improved stability and control on rough terrain. Whether you're crawling over rocks, traversing muddy trails, or navigating sand dunes, the 35-inch tires provide the confidence and performance needed to tackle it all.

In addition to the larger tires, the AEV package also includes enhanced suspension components, skid plates, and rock sliders, all designed to protect the Gladiator during extreme off-roading adventures. Furthermore, the package features a winch-ready steel bumper, offering peace of mind in case you find yourself in a tight spot.

Interior Comfort and Technology

While the 2024 Gladiator shines in off-road performance, it also offers a comfortable and well-appointed interior for daily driving. The cabin features high-quality materials and an intuitive infotainment system with a touchscreen display. Modern tech features, including smartphone integration and advanced safety systems, are available to keep both drivers and passengers connected and secure.

The 2024 Jeep Gladiator builds upon its reputation as a go-anywhere, do-anything pickup truck with a striking new grille design and an available AEV package equipped with 35-inch tires. These enhancements make the Gladiator even more capable and eye-catching, ensuring that it remains a top choice for off-road enthusiasts and adventure seekers. Whether you're tackling rugged trails or simply cruising around town, the 2024 Gladiator is ready to conquer whatever lies ahead.

Julie Mehretu’s BMW Art Car Celebrates its World Premiere at the Centre Pompidou in Paris.

The 20th BMW Art Car is being presented to the public for the first time today at the Centre Pompidou in Paris. Designed by renowned New York-based contemporary artist Julie Mehretu, the project transforms the BMW M Hybrid V8 racecar into a performative work of art, continuing a longstanding tradition of BMW Art Cars and competitive racing. Just a few weeks after its World Premiere in the French capital, the newest edition in the storied BMW Art Car collection will compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

“The whole BMW Art Car project is about invention, about imagination, about pushing limits of what can be possible. I don’t think of this car as something you would exhibit. I am thinking of it as something that will race in Le Mans. It’s a performative painting. My BMW Art Car was created in close collaboration with motorsport and engineering teams,” says Julie Mehretu. “The BMW Art Car is only completed once the race is over.”

The collaboration between BMW and Julie Mehretu also includes a joint commitment to a series of PanAfrican Translocal Media Workshops for filmmakers, which will tour various African cities in 2025 and 2026, and will culminate in a major exhibition at the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa in Cape Town.

“The BMW Art Cars are an essential part of our global cultural commitment. For almost 50 years, we have been cooperating with artists who are just as fascinated by mobility and design as they are by technology and motorsports. Julie Mehretu's vision for a racing car is an extraordinarily strong contribution to our BMW Art Cars series,” said Oliver Zipse, Chairman of the Board of Management of BMW AG. “Julie Mehretu has created more than an amazing Art Car. Her ideas provided the impetus for us to expand the cultural commitment of our Art Cars to promote the creativity of young artists in Africa.”
