Aston Martin DBX S 2025 Unleashed with Sharper Style and More Power

  • How does the DBX S stand out from its predecessor in design?
  • What performance upgrades define the DBX S?

In the fiercely competitive world of luxury performance SUVs, Aston Martin raises the bar once again with the debut of the DBX S. Positioned above the already potent DBX707, this new model blends sophisticated aggression with groundbreaking engineering. With bolder design cues, enhanced aerodynamics, and a powertrain tuned for thrill-seekers, the DBX S marks a new chapter in the British marque’s high-performance legacy. Combining elegance with adrenaline, it's built for drivers who demand both refinement and raw strength from their SUV.

A New Chapter in SUV Luxury

A New Chapter in SUV Luxury

Aston Martin has taken a bold leap forward with the DBX S, refining the identity of its luxury SUV with a sharper, more aggressive exterior. While the interior remains mostly untouched apart from minor finishes and an exclusive S badge, the exterior tells a different story. The front fascia now flaunts a revised splitter and bolder styling cues, while the rear benefits from a redesigned diffuser and a striking new exhaust setup with vertically stacked quad pipes reminiscent of the Lexus IS F.

Reducing weight was a priority in this redesign. Optional 23-inch magnesium wheels shed 18 kilograms compared to aluminum ones, and a carbon-fiber roof—the largest single carbon piece Aston Martin has ever produced—further enhances performance. Customers can also opt for a front grille from the DBS 770 Ultimate, carbon mirrors, and door sills, potentially dropping the total weight by over 45 kilograms. Final weight? Just 2,197 kilograms. But these weight-saving measures come at a premium and are not included by default. Given that the DBX707 already starts at around 260,000 USD, the DBX S could easily surpass 300,000 USD when fully loaded.

Production begins in fall 2025, promising a new era of power and prestige in the SUV world.

Sharpened V8 Performance

Sharpened V8 Performance

Under the hood, the DBX S takes performance up a notch with a reworked 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 producing 717 hp, benefiting from the turbo technology of the Valhalla hypercar. While the 0 to 100 km/h sprint remains at an already blistering 3.1 seconds, the real difference lies in its mid-range thrust, reaching 200 km/h even faster than the DBX707. The top speed now stands at 311 km/h, just one click behind the Lamborghini Urus SE.

The all-wheel-drive system remains unchanged, dynamically shifting torque from rear to front wheels depending on road conditions, while the advanced suspension and massive carbon-ceramic brakes continue to offer class-leading control. With Aston Martin's recalibrated hardware, the DBX S is not just a design evolution—it’s a refined performance machine ready to dominate both highways and high society.
