Ferrari has lifted the curtain on its newest GT masterpiece, the Amalfi, a sleek 2 plus coupe that succeeds the iconic Roma. With a powerful front mounted V8 engine, active aerodynamics, and a driver focused cockpit, the Amalfi is built for those who want both excitement and elegance. It combines Ferrari’s classic design DNA with next generation performance tech, offering an evolved formula for grand touring that refuses to compromise on speed, style, or sophistication.

Powertrain Excellence

Powertrain Excellence

The heart of the Amalfi is a reworked twin turbo V8, part of Ferrari’s award winning F154 family. Delivering 640 horsepower and revving up to 7600 rpm, this engine launches the car from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in just 3.3 seconds. The engineering tweaks are significant, from a more efficient turbocharging setup to a lighter camshaft design and reduced engine mass, all helping boost response and torque across the rev range.

Ferrari also introduced a new eight speed dual clutch transmission that shifts faster and smoother than before. Combined with low viscosity oil, a flat plane crankshaft, and a tuned exhaust with active sound control, the Amalfi delivers a performance that’s sharp, clean, and true to the Ferrari experience. It also comes with a dry sump system and refined gear mapping for improved drivability in urban traffic.

Design Meets Aerodynamics

Design Meets Aerodynamics

Ferrari has taken a minimalist approach to the Amalfi’s design, focusing on sculpted surfaces and clean proportions that scream elegance and speed. Inspired by the Roma but with more dramatic curves, the front of the car features a wide air intake and floating wing element that seamlessly integrates lighting and sensors. The rear is equally bold, with a hidden taillight treatment and active spoiler that automatically adjusts between three levels to match driving conditions.

The cabin follows the dual cockpit layout seen in other Ferrari models, now more refined with a suspended aluminum center tunnel and soft touch materials. The dashboard blends seamlessly into the door panels, creating a sense of unity. A central touchscreen, a digital driver display, and even a passenger screen keep both occupants engaged. Optional comfort features include ventilated and massaging seats in three sizes, and a 14 speaker Burmester sound system that turns any drive into a luxury escape.

Smart Control Inside

Smart Control Inside

Ferrari has fully redesigned its user interface for the Amalfi, making every control more intuitive and driver centric. At the center of this upgrade is the new steering wheel, which brings back physical buttons for greater tactile feedback. Everything is arranged for quick access, from adaptive cruise control on the left to volume and drive mode controls on the right. The start button is placed right on the wheel, creating an instant bond between driver and machine the moment the engine comes alive.

Three screens dominate the cabin. The main 15.6 inch driver display shows all performance and vehicle data, while the 10.25 inch central touchscreen allows both driver and passenger to manage everything from climate to seating. Meanwhile, an 8.8 inch passenger screen lets co drivers monitor performance metrics like g force and engine revs. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, and a custom MyFerrari app gives owners remote access to car status and settings.

Active Aero and Driving Dynamics

Active Aero and Driving Dynamics

Ferrari engineered the Amalfi with next level aerodynamic solutions that go beyond looks. The active rear spoiler is the star feature, adjusting itself in real time based on speed, braking, and cornering forces. It has three positions that balance downforce and drag, adding up to 110 kilograms of extra grip at 250 kilometers per hour when needed. It works seamlessly with the redesigned rear diffuser and underbody elements, which channel air precisely to keep the car planted.

Handling is further improved through electronic brake by wire tech and Ferrari’s updated ABS Evo system, first seen on the 296 GTB. The Amalfi constantly monitors grip levels using a six way sensor setup and adjusts braking at each wheel accordingly. Steering is electric but incredibly precise, and now helps the system better estimate road conditions in real time. All of this integrates through Ferrari’s SSC 6.1 control logic, coordinating every component for a balanced and thrilling drive on any road.
