Jeep is taking a bold step for 2026 by ending the Wagoneer name and focusing fully on the Grand Wagoneer. Instead of two overlapping models, the company will now offer a single line under the Grand Wagoneer badge with different trims to cover a wide range of budgets. This shift simplifies the lineup and positions the Grand Wagoneer as the true face of American luxury SUVs.
Jeep dealers confirm that the Wagoneer will no longer be produced, leaving the Grand Wagoneer as the sole flagship. Customers often saw little difference between the two, with most preferring the more upscale Grand Wagoneer. By merging the lineup, Jeep aims to deliver a clearer identity similar to what brands like Range Rover and Cadillac have done in their premium segments.
The current Wagoneer starts around 59,945 dollars, while the Grand Wagoneer begins at 84,945 dollars. With the new strategy, Jeep plans to release multiple versions of the Grand Wagoneer at different price points, giving Saudi buyers more flexible options without confusing overlaps.
For 2026, the Grand Wagoneer adopts a sharper look. Expect redesigned LED headlights, a sleeker front bumper, and a full width rear light bar that gives the SUV a more modern stance. Inside, Jeep upgrades the cabin with larger screens, premium leather, and advanced McIntosh audio systems, all powered by the latest Uconnect 5 infotainment.
These touches aim to elevate the sense of luxury while ensuring that Saudi drivers and families experience both comfort and cutting edge technology on every trip.
The base engine remains the Hurricane 3.0 liter twin turbo inline six, which offers stronger performance and better fuel efficiency than the older V8s. The big news is the Grand Wagoneer 4xe plug in hybrid. It combines a 3.6 liter V6 with two electric motors and a 92 kilowatt hour battery for a total of 663 horsepower and 833 newton meters of torque.
This puts the hybrid Grand Wagoneer in direct competition with performance luxury SUVs like the BMW X7 M60i and Range Rover P550e. Jeep will also rename its trims, replacing Series I, II, and III with more familiar badges like Limited and Summit, making it easier for Saudi customers to understand the lineup.
With Wagoneer gone, the Grand Wagoneer takes the spotlight as a modern symbol of American luxury and strength. It is not just an SUV, it is Jeep’s statement that elegance and advanced hybrid power can stand together in one package.
