Oracle Lighting is shaking up the auto world with the first LED headlights that do not use an outer lens. Debuted at SEMA 2025 in Las Vegas, these new lights are set to arrive in January 2026 as a custom upgrade for the latest Toyota Tacoma and will soon roll out to popular models like the Ford F 150 and Toyota 4Runner. With prices between 800 and 900 US dollars, Oracle promises a game changing leap in lighting technology.
Unlike classic LED headlights, Oracle’s innovation skips the clear outer lens completely. Instead, each headlight uses sealed modular LED emitters packed inside a dustproof and waterproof case rated at IP68. This means drivers can say goodbye to common problems like cracked glass, foggy covers, or sand and mud damaging their lights. The smart new design even makes the light unit lighter and helps it stay cool, so the LEDs last up to 25 percent longer than before.
Oracle built these lights for simple maintenance. If something breaks, owners do not need to replace the whole unit. Instead, they can swap out just the broken part, like the high beam, low beam, or daytime running light. This serviceable design keeps costs low. Where fixing a scratched lens on a regular headlight might cost over 1,000 US dollars, Oracle’s modular setup means repairs only cost a fraction of that. Plus, the new housings can be painted to match any car color and attach with metal mounts for quick replacement. Fans of off road adventures and custom rides will find these upgrades both durable and easy to personalize.
