  • How does the interior blend classic charm with modern luxury?
  • What performance upgrades set this GTO apart from the original?

Pontiac’s legendary 1967 GTO has just been reimagined into one of the most extreme and luxurious restomod projects ever built. Now known as the Twisted 67 GTO, this stunning transformation took over two years and a jaw dropping 1.2 million dollars to complete. The result is a car that still respects its original muscle car roots but comes with modern power, style, and tech that elevate it into a whole new class. From the deep ocean blue paint to the roaring LS7 V8 under the hood, everything about this GTO screams customized perfection.

Luxury in Every Stitch

Luxury in Every Stitch

The cabin of the Twisted 67 GTO is far from old school. While the exterior keeps the car’s iconic shape, the inside tells a completely different story. Rich, deep red leather wraps the seats in multiple layers, giving them both visual drama and elite comfort. Aluminum pedals and polished handles add a modern edge, while nickel plated stainless trim lines every corner. Even the trunk has been fully decked out in custom leather panels and hides a powerful 12 speaker sound system with a 12 inch subwoofer. Every detail speaks of a restomod built not just to impress but to indulge.

Built for the Highway, Powered by a Beast

The Twisted GTO does not rely on nostalgia alone. Under the hood is a monstrous 6.9 liter LS7 V8 paired with a 2.9 liter Whipple supercharger, delivering performance that far exceeds the original car’s specs. The frame is all new from Roadster Shop, built for serious handling and highway performance. Backing the power is a modern 4L80E automatic transmission, carbon fiber driveshaft, and massive Baer brakes. Even the wheels are custom, measuring 19 inches up front and 20 inches at the rear. The exhaust system is stainless steel, and the suspension has been engineered for high speed stability. This is not just a classic with a facelift, it is a full on mechanical masterpiece.
