Brittany Force just rewrote the rulebook on speed. At the 2025 NHRA Northwest Nationals in Seattle, the 39-year-old Top Fuel driver recorded a mind-blowing 341.85 kilometers per hour in the semifinals — the fastest run ever in NHRA history. That pass didn't just break the record, it shattered it. And yes, the previous record also belonged to her.
The run came during her semifinal matchup against Doug Kalitta at Pacific Raceways. Force's 3.659-second pass over the 1,000-foot dragstrip marked a new benchmark in Top Fuel racing. That speed broke her own previous record from earlier this year (341.59 kph) and added another record to her growing legacy. Despite a heartbreaking technical shutdown in the final that cost her the win, Brittany’s performance was the talk of the track.
She also ran 340.82 kph earlier that day, and 340.47 kph in qualifying — proving this wasn’t a fluke, but a new standard.
The record-setting weekend came in the shadow of personal challenges. Her father, the legendary John Force, is still recovering from a life-threatening crash in 2024 and has confirmed he won’t return to racing. Brittany is now the face of John Force Racing, leading with confidence and rewriting expectations for what women can do in high-performance motorsport.
Already the only woman with over 300 career Top Fuel round wins, Brittany continues to prove that the future of drag racing is fast, fierce, and female.
