RM Sotheby's is delighted to announce The Prancing Icons Collection, a single-owner group of five modern Ferrari models comprising La Ferrari, F12tdf, 812 Competizione, SF90 Stradale, and 488 Pista Spider. The Collection offers a focused and compelling snapshot of Ferrari's most significant performance cars of the past decade.
Curated over more than 10 years of ownership, the collection reflects a consistent approach to specification and care. The cars were all maintained exclusively within the Ferrari network, resulting in a notably coherent ensemble in terms of mileage, condition, and provenance. Each model represents a key chapter in Ferrari’s recent evolution—from hybrid hypercar innovation to naturally aspirated V-12 performance. Leading the group is a beautifully specified 2014 Ferrari LaFerrari (Est: $3,000,000–$3,500,000), finished in timeless Rosso Corsa over black and with just 3,701 kilometres on the clock. Just 1.3 seconds slower around Fiorano than the flagship LaFerrari, the one-of-799 2016 Ferrari F12tdf (Est: $1,000,000–$1,200,000) is among the marque’s most focused front-engined V-12s, finished here in a rare extracampionario Bianco Italia Opaco with complementary matte carbon. Alongside it, the 2023 Ferrari 812 Competizione (Est: $1,250,000–$1,500,000) captures the pinnacle of high-revving, naturally aspirated performance with its 9,500-rpm V-12, with this example presented in matching Bianco Italia Opaco and having covered just 486 kilometres from new. Together, these three cars trace a decade of Ferrari’s flagship engineering with clear continuity and minimal use—an increasingly rare combination.
The collection also includes two standout models that illustrate the brand’s technical breadth. The 2020 Ferrari 488 Pista Spider—Maranello’s 50th convertible—features a purposeful Grigio Silverstone Opaco finish and is offered complete with original tools and car cover. The 2022 Ferrari SF90 Stradale (Est: $400,000–$500,000), celebrating 90 years of Scuderia Ferrari, delivers nearly 1,000 horsepower from its twin-turbocharged V-8 and triple-motor hybrid system. Similarly specified in Bianco Italia Opaco and serviced annually from new, this example has covered just 2,245 kilometres. Together, they strengthen the collection’s narrative of performance, innovation, and meticulous stewardship. All five cars will be publicly displayed from 2–5 December at The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort and will cross the auction block during Abu Dhabi Collectors’ Week on 5 December, an event establishing the UAE capital as a new global meeting point for collectors of automobiles, art, watches, jewellery, and design. “This collection represents the essence of modern Ferrari performance—powerful, focused, and beautifully maintained. Offering all five cars together at Collectors’ Week is a privilege, and we look forward to presenting them on a global stage in Abu Dhabi.” — Duccio Filippo Lopresto, Managing Director, MENA
