Honda has announced its plans to launch three new electric SUVs in China in 2024. The Honda e:N SUV Concept, e:NP2 Prototype, and e:NS2 Prototype were recently unveiled at the 19th Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition. These vehicles represent Honda's commitment to providing sustainable and eco-friendly transportation options for consumers in China and beyond.
The Honda e:N SUV Concept is a compact SUV that features a distinctive design with sharp lines and a sleek profile. It is powered by Honda's next-generation EV system, which provides a range of over 400 kilometers (approximately 250 miles) on a single charge. The e:N SUV Concept also comes equipped with advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), including Honda Sensing, which helps drivers stay alert and avoid collisions.
The e:NP2 Prototype and e:NS2 Prototype are mid-sized SUVs that share a similar design language with the e:N SUV Concept. Both models are also powered by Honda's next-generation EV system and feature advanced ADAS technologies. The e:NP2 Prototype is designed to be more sporty and dynamic, while the e:NS2 Prototype is focused on providing a comfortable and spacious interior for passengers.
According to Honda, these new electric SUVs will be manufactured locally in China, which will help the company meet the growing demand for eco-friendly vehicles in the Chinese market.
