In line with its long-standing commitment to support the advancement of the sports industry, Audi, Al Nabooda Automobiles has renewed its partnership with the Dubai Globe Soccer Awards for the 14th consecutive year, on January 19 at the five-star Atlantis, The Palm.
As a demonstration of its ongoing support, the brand provided a fleet of 60 premium Audi vehicles to chauffeur guests including players and VIP attendees to and from the 14th edition of the star-studded awards ceremony, which was held alongside the 18th Dubai International Sports Conference in partnership with Dubai Sports Council. The fleet included the latest Audi models; the fully-electric Q8 e-tron models, A8 models, Q8 models and Q7 models.
In a bid to spotlight one player’s efforts to unite communities both on and off the field, this year’s ceremony saw Audi, Al Nabooda Automobiles present Carlos Henrique Casimiro with the “Player Career Award.” The trophy recognizes Casmiro’s remarkable journey and contributions to the sport, spotlighting his achievements as one of the greatest defensive midfielders of his generation.
Showcased at the event was the Audi RS 7, drawing in and captivating attendees thanks to its sporty appearance and assertive biturbo V8 engine. Part of the Audi suite of RS-engineered models, the visceral performance of the five-door coupe is underlined by its aggressive RS styling and daring design.
