Ineos has just taken its rugged Grenadier to a whole new level with a factory version of the off road-ready prototype it showcased last year. Partnering with the German specialist Letech, the new edition comes packed with extreme hardware built for the most unforgiving terrain. From portal axles to bold exterior upgrades and refined interior details, this version is a serious step up. For those looking to dominate trails in style, the Letech-built Grenadier is now officially available to order in Europe, marking its entry into the elite class of adventure vehicles.
The Letech edition of the Ineos Grenadier stands tall with portal axles that push the wheels away from the drivetrain, adding 18.5 centimeters of ground clearance and bringing total height to 45 centimeters. That’s a massive boost from the standard setup. Along with a new five-link suspension system and 37-inch BF Goodrich Mud Terrain tires wrapped on 18-inch Hutchinson aluminum beadlock wheels, this Grenadier is engineered to handle deep ruts, steep climbs, and water crossings up to 105 centimeters. It is no longer just a 4x4, it’s a trail conqueror with serious muscle.
On the outside, Letech adds functional touches made for real-world adventure. This includes an onboard tire pressure monitoring and adjustment system, high performance brakes, a heavy duty winch, wide fender flares, rock sliders, and a versatile rear ladder carrying an extra fuel can. LED spotlights and a roof rack boost its utility and give it a meaner stance. Inside, comfort hasn’t been sacrificed. Buyers get heated leather seats, a premium audio system, privacy glass, and plush carpeting alongside the rugged Trialmaster trim. Power comes from BMW’s trusted 3.0 liter diesel (B57) or gasoline (B58) engines, giving this beast both brains and brawn.
