Porsche never stops chasing performance, and the 911 GT3 is proof that even track legends can level up. The latest Manthey package pushes the GT3 even closer to race car territory, smashing the Nürburgring lap record with no engine upgrades, just smart engineering. The result is a street legal machine that eats up the corners and leaves old lap times in the dust.
The heart of the new Manthey kit is a set of carbon aero discs that cover the rear wheels, cutting drag and pushing airflow in all the right ways. The wheels themselves are forged and lightweight, measuring twenty inches up front and twenty one at the rear, and trimming over six kilograms compared to standard. Drivers can order special Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires for serious grip, and yes, they are fully street legal.
The kit also brings in a four way adjustable coilover suspension that does not need any tools to tweak. This setup comes with stainless steel braided brake lines and is tuned for both track action and public roads. Whether you are carving up corners or rolling through the city, these upgrades keep the GT3 glued to the ground and totally in control.
Manthey takes the 911 GT3’s already sharp aerodynamics and cranks them up. The package adds a wider rear wing with a Gurney flap, new curved internal vanes, a more aggressive diffuser with bigger fins, an overhauled underbody with extra aero channels, a stretched front splitter, and canards for better high speed balance.
The numbers say it all. With the new kit, the GT3 makes seven hundred eighty two pounds of downforce in road mode and nearly one thousand two hundred pounds in full track setup. Behind the wheel, DTM champ Ayhancan Güven set a blistering six minutes fifty two point nine seconds at the Nürburgring, over two seconds faster than the previous Manthey equipped GT3.
The Manthey kit will be available next spring and can be installed at over forty authorized dealers in the United States. Prices are expected to start around fifty seven thousand dollars for the basic kit, with wheels adding over fifteen thousand dollars. For GT3 RS and GT2 RS owners, Manthey packages can reach well into six figures.
