Porsche has never built the Macan for drifting, but the latest SEMA Show in Las Vegas flipped that idea on its head. FCP Euro, a specialist in European performance parts, transformed the luxury SUV into a wild drift machine powered by an Audi RS7 V8. With radical styling, a fully stripped race interior, and 600 horsepower sent to the rear tires, this Macan is anything but ordinary. Here’s how the project took shape and why it’s become one of the craziest SUVs ever revealed.
From the first look, the Macan’s stance tells you it is built for the track. The body sits lower than standard, showing off its new rally style livery and a massive rear wing. Wider fender flares, expanded vents, and a large front splitter give it an unmistakable race car presence. Even the underbody has been reworked, ditching factory protection plates for a fully exposed and custom tuned suspension.
The car rides on Rotiform five spoke wheels, with wide front tires set at a sharp negative camber. Behind those wheels, upgraded brakes from 034 Motorsport and bright red calipers promise serious stopping power. The suspension uses a 3-Way Damper system and air lift tech from Aston x Moton, letting the driver fine tune height and stiffness for every run.
Forget luxury, this Macan’s cabin is a pure racing setup. Nearly everything was removed to shed weight and boost performance. A full roll cage keeps occupants safe, while four bucket seats with five point harnesses strap everyone in. A hydraulic handbrake sits ready for drift maneuvers, next to a quick release steering wheel and a custom center control panel. Every piece of trim and comfort feature was stripped away, turning the Macan into a mobile adrenaline lab.
The original Porsche engine is gone, replaced by a 4.0 liter twin turbo V8 from a 2014 Audi RS7. After new engine management software, a high performance intake, and a race spec intercooler, the output climbs over 600 horsepower. Power goes only to the rear wheels through a modified eight speed ZF transmission, with sequential style shifting and an electronic clutch kick system for wild drift action.
Built over a full year by FCP Euro and TSH Auto, the Macan drift car debuted at SEMA 2025 in the Hoonigan booth. Next, it is headed for a drift taxi tour at American racetracks, giving riders an unforgettable taste of rear wheel drive chaos.
