Restomods are having a serious moment, and Theon Design just raised the bar. This British coachbuilder spent over 18 months reimagining the legendary Porsche 911 with a modern twist that still honors the past. Featuring classic rear wheel drive, a raw manual gearbox, carbon fiber bodywork, and a price tag that hits over 564,000 USD before donor car cost, this is not just a car, it’s a handcrafted machine built for those who truly get Porsche.
Theon Design equipped this 911 restomod with a five speed manual transmission, keeping the old school driving feel alive. A bespoke exhaust system allows the driver to cruise silently through towns or unleash a full roar on open roads. Underneath, it gets a semi active TracTive suspension, a lift kit for speed bumps, and brakes taken straight from the Porsche 993 Carrera RS. To complete the performance package, it rides on custom 18 inch wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport tires for maximum grip.
Inside, the cabin balances vintage charm with modern upgrades. It features Recaro CS seats with carbon fiber backs, gray Alcantara trim, and custom gauges that keep the classic vibe alive. There’s also a hidden Alpine sound system paired with six Focal speakers, delivering premium audio without compromising the retro look.
Every Theon Design project starts by stripping the donor car to bare metal, reinforcing it with extra welds, and reshaping it with lightweight carbon fiber panels. This unit is finished in a stunning Ice Green Metallic paint with polished chrome details that scream elegance. But luxury and performance like this don’t come cheap. Starting at 420,000 GBP (around 564,000 USD) for a coupe version before the base car, this restomod is reserved for serious collectors who see their car as rolling art.
